Our RE curriculum, rooted in our Christian vision and values and delivered through our Burley and Woodhead Me Curriculum, covers the Bradford agreed syllabus for RE.
The RE curriculum provides an outworking of our many parts, one body vision.
Our curriculum leader has coherently mapped progression across the school to ensure coverage of Christianity and other world religions and world views as living, diverse faiths.
Staff subject knowledge ensures children are developing a rigorous understanding of the knowledge of different religions while simultaneously developing the skills required to analyse, evaluate, discuss and question the way that faith shapes people’s lives.
As a result, our children develop a deeper understanding of their own personal worldview, while gaining an appreciation of diversity and difference. This in turn successfully feeds into our mission of creating responsible future leaders of our local and global community.
